How often have you added something to an online shopping cart, only to have abandoned the merchandise?

Maybe you’ve come back to it, but maybe you haven’t. Now, you’re a business and the same thing has happened to you—people are abandoning their carts, with merchandise, and you want to figure out why. But what you need to know is that there are lots of different reasons for that abandonment.

For example, some people are ready to buy, but then they’re faced with shipping costs that they don’t want to pay. They might also be faced with another hurdle, such as creating an account, that they don’t want to fuss with.
